The students presented three alternatives to the entire community including parents of children from the conflicting demographic groups to identify their respective aspirations. The meetings were held in the neighborhood Chicago Cultural Center
كجزء من عملية التخطيط، قدم الطلاب ثلاث خيارات لجميع أفراد المجتمع، بما في ذلك الأهالي من مجموعات ديموغرافية ذات تصورات مختلفة، بهدف تحديد التصميم الذي يتماشى مع تطلعاتهم. عقدت اللقاءات في المركز الاجتماعي باسم شيكاغو.
במסגרת תהליך התכנון, הציגו הסטודנטים שלוש חלופות לכלל הקהילה, כולל הורים לילדים מקבוצות דמוגרפיות בעלות תפיסות שונות, במטרה לזהות ולהתאים את העיצוב לשאיפותיהן. המפגשים נערכו במרכז הקהילתי השכונתי ע״ש שיקגו.

All the steel work was prepared by the students at a professional workshop.

גאביונים لقفص الحجري (الجبيونات) Gabions
The walls and seating are all made of gabions using stone rubble from a local quarry.
تم بناء جدران المبنى والمقاعد من قفص حجري باستخدام شظايا حجرية مصدرها محجر محلي، وتم دمجها بشكل إبداعي وجمالي يتماشى مع روح المكان.
קירות המבנה והמושבים נבנו מגביונים, תוך שימוש בשיברי אבן שמקורם במחצבה מקומית., ששולבו באופן יצירתי ואסטתי התואם את רוח המקום.
מבנה פלדה هيكل فولاذي Steel structure
The steel structure was prefabricated by the students and bolted together on site. All the welding was overseen by professionals.

טקס פתיחה حفل الافتتاح Opening Ceremony
Despite the pouring rain, the opening ceremony was very well attended by the friends and families of the students, many children and their parents from the local community, the staff of the community center and representatives of the municipality.
على الرغم من الأمطار الغزيرة، شهد حفل الافتتاح حضوراً لافتاً من أفراد المجتمع، عائلات الطلاب، الأطفال وأهاليهم، طاقم المركز المجتمعي وممثلي البلدية.
למרות הגשם השוטף, טקס הפתיחה זכה להיענות מרשימה מצד חברי הקהילה, משפחות הסטודנטים, ילדים והוריהם, צוות המרכז הקהילתי ונציגי העירייה.
